The little glass jewel I set in this vintage jeweled watch movement reminds me of our blue marble, from space. I love pictures of the earth from space. 

I actually have a really cool satellite photo of earth as my desktop picture. And that little jewel is like looking at our planet. 

Attached to the chain is the dial portion of the vintage watch, hanging by an antique silver plated brass filigree style dragonfly. 

Czech glass beads add a touch of sparkle and compliment the "earth" jewel nicely. I used sterling headpins to wire the glass beads.

I set the movement into an antique silver art deco style setting and hung it from an antique silver ring. The chain is antique silver plated steel rollo. 

The necklace measures 18" and the drop is 1 1/2".

The antique silver plated brass components are nickle free. 

NOTE*** I sold the original design that is in the picture. The dial will be different on the one you purchase. The bottom photo is a sample of the dials available. Let me know which one you prefer. I have some new dials that are similar to the sold ones. Let me know if you would like to see a picture. They are basically the same but with different names.
